Best Tea Brewer Pot and Infuser

Even though Coffee is the beverage of choice in America, Tea is steadily gaining in popularity. It has less caffeine and comes in quite a bit more flavor. Best of all, they taste good no matter what temperature they’re at. However, since its rarely drank, most people do not even have the right tool to brew tea. You have options from tea pot to tea stirrer. But the Best Tea Brewer and infuser is easy to use and strain loose tea all in one go.

Best Way to Brew Tea

Like Coffee, proper preparation and brewing is key to a good cup of tea. You need to use the right temperature and the right steeping time. A Tea Brewer Pot and Infuser should be able to stop the brewing when you want. Having tea leaves steep for longer than required can and will cause the tea to become bitter. It produces off flavor and make the tea over caffeinated.

The exact brewing temperature and time will vary depending on the tea type and brand. I recommend you follow the packaging instruction on each tea. But for a general guide, Green Tea should be brewed at around 150-180 degree Fahrenheit for 1-3 minutes. Black Tea are generally brewed at 200-212 degree Fahrenheit for around 3-5 minutes.

For Brewing Measurement and Water, use the manufacturer recommended amount first. Then, adjust the strength to your taste. The quality and flavor of the tea can change dramatically by just adding a tea spoon more. So try to find one to your palate.

In China, true Tea Lover uses Yi Xing Clay to make tea pots. They take on the flavor of the past tea and infuse it with future brews. These can vary in cost from cheap to expensive. Good options are kind of hard to find and they take a bit more work than modern tea brewer. Nevertheless, if you truly want the best way to brew tea, this is the way to go.

How to Make Ice Tea

Making Ice Tea is the same method as normal brewing. However, you just need to let it cool before adding ice. If you don’t, you will just water down the tea.

I do not recommend cold brewing Tea. They will extract too much caffeine and give it an off flavor. Although there are some people out there who champion the idea.

Tea Brewer Machine vs Pot

Tea Brewer Machine are mostly used by restaurant. They work very similar to how a coffee brewer works. They run hot water through a basket and the resulting beverage will be in the container. Consumer models will usually have a steeping basket, but they dont automatically stop steeping. I personally think the home model are better for flavor, but its not fully automatic.

The Tea brewer Pot will be manual. They still steep and strain, but you need to heat the water yourself. The main challenge most people face is measuring the temperature of water. Luckily, you can just use a thermometer for green tea. For Black Tea, just boil it and it should be in the right range.

My only complaint is that the basket sometimes get loose when you pour in water. You can work around this by pouring water down the side.

Hario “Largo” Tea Dripper Stand Set (Best Tea Brewer for a Party)

If you want to serve larger party, than Hario Largo set might be for you. It has the same great feature of the Adagio set but in a larger quantity. If you just want to forego all the stuff I just said and want something cheap and simple, then Mr Coffee is for you. You have no control over the steep time or temperature. However, it does make a good Southern Ice Tea. Since you cant control the steep time, you can compensate by just adding more tea bags.
